Alondra Chatman

Owner, Lead Master Personal Trainer, Professional Figure Competitor, Competition Team Head Coach, Group Exercise Instructor

I strive to be a walking advertisement of how a sensible diet and a combination of aerobic exercise and a smart weight training program can work for anyone.

Goals and Missions

My personal goal is to help others achieve a higher level of fitness with my exercise and nutrition guidance. I find it very gratifying to help others reach their goals of weight loss and muscle gain and to see them obtain an overall better quality of life. (and of course look great while you're at it!)

How Fitness Became Her Interest

I was always on one competitive sports team or another growing up. I played collegiate level volleyball and softball, and played basketball and ran track in high school, as well as danced for four years. After college, I took advantage of the fitness facility at work and rediscovered my interest in fitness with free aerobics classes led by a good friend. She quickly convinced me to study to become a group exercise instructor and get certified. Shortly thereafter, I met my coach and trainer, Kenneth Williams and was introduced to the world of personal training. My first workout with him proved that I had never really been challenged and I was hooked.

I relate to the busy working mom as a wife, a mother of two, personal trainer, figure competitor, business owner and boot Camp "Drill Sergeant". If you set your mind on getting fit, you can do it. I look forward to working with new clients and helping them realize their fitness goals.

Mariah Cooks

Certified Personal Trainer

My goal is to inspire and encourage people to be the best possible version of themselves and one of the main avenues to do that is through fitness.

My athletic career began at the age of 4, and I grew up playing basketball, soccer and volleyball. I joined a top AAU basketball team out of Los Angeles my Sophomore year in high school, and traveled around the country playing in college showcase tournaments. I received offers from several Division I programs but Washington State University was my perfect fit. At the beginning of my sophomore season, my team nominated me as team captain because of my ability to consistently lead and be a light to my teammates. Towards the end of my senior season, my coaches and I started talking about my future and whether I wanted to continue playing professionally. I was conflicted because not only was I an athlete, I have always had a “student-first” mentality and had plans of going to law school post-graduation. While in my season of gaining clarity on what path to take, I tore my ACL playing pickup basketball which, at the time, was some of the most devastating news I had ever received. I was either going to allow this injury to define me or I was going to define it. It has still only been four months since my reconstruction surgery, however I am stronger, wiser, and healthier because of it. Through this process I have taken a whole new approach to my health and wellness in focusing not only on what I am physically doing with my body (working out), but also what I am putting into my body (nutrition). I believe that if you are consistent with these two aspects and WILLING and READY to overcome obstacles and push past the limitations you or other people have placed on you, you will be able to surpass your goals and reach new heights. I am excited to walk with my clients through the highs and lows of their fitness journey and inspire them to achieve their personal goals.

Taurus and my name is Juel…Now I love living a healthy active lifestyle in manner that inspires others to do the same. I have a passion for helping people dig deep inside their potential to do extraordinary things by applying the right mindset. One of the best ways this is can be demonstrated is through fitness. I began my life as an athlete at the age of 5, and grew up playing baseball, basketball, soccer, and running track. After graduating from San Leandro High School, I served 4 years in the Marine Corps where I was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. Aside from my daily Marine duties of trying to save the world, I played softball, flag football, volleyball, and semi-pro basketball. I eventually began working in law enforcement where I’ve learned to apply my physical fitness and defensive tactics skills in a different manner. I am a husband, a father of three children, an upcoming MMA fighter, and a trainer that knows about overcoming obstacles to reach goals. I believe in working hard and having fun, so I will make you smile and sweat your way to greatness.

Not long ago, I was YOU!! Like many Americans, I had horrible eating habits. My idea of exercise was walking into McDonalds instead of going through the drive-thru. I was eating unhealthy, fried, greasy food on a regular basis and was living a sedentary lifestyle like 75% of Americans. This was a recipe for putting on weight; and at my heaviest I was almost 270lbs (BMI = 35.5)

I say this to say, if I can change my habits move towards a healthier lifestyle then you can too! There was no quick fix, no fat reducing pill, nor a magic diet. There was nothing new about what I did. What I did was change my way of thinking, changed my diet, changed my workout habits, thus I changed my life. It sounds cliche but with my new found lifestyle of health and wellness, I feel like a new person. I feel better in every aspect of life and I no longer have the lower back and knee problems that plagued me when I was heavier. I am physically able to do things in my 30's that I was unable to do in my 20's.

I now weigh 200lbs, which is a loss of almost 15% body fat and I have kept the weight off for almost 6 years. I know what you are going through but if you are ready to work hard, I am here to help you work harder!
