1 - What was your fitness goal when joining The Inner Athlete? What brought
you to The Inner Athlete?

My fitness goal was to lose about 35lbs and tone my body up. What really motivated me to join was
seeing Remi's pictures from her first bikini competition.

2 – What made you to decide to make fitness a priority? What has made you
stay with the Inner Athlete for this long?

I think what made me want to make fitness a priority was I wasn't able to wear my size 29 and 30
jeans - I was in a 34! I was very unhappy with my body and I couldn't look in the mirror any longer.
I'm now addicted to the progress I'm making and I feel better about myself!

3 – What had been your plan for weight loss and diet in the past?

Previously, I would walk the lake or try to just eat salads when I felt bad but would never really stick
to it.  I tried joining a gym but didn't really know how to use the equipment, so I didn't keep going.

4 – How are you able to maintain your fit lifestyle?   What have you learned
from your trainers/classes?

I think what motivates me to maintain this lifestyle is looking at old pictures of myself and never
wanting to let my body get out of control again. Looking forward to what I can do in a few more
months keeps me pushing forward.  A great support team helps too.  I think most importantly, what
I've learned from Remi is that hard work and eating a clean diet actually does pay off!

5 - Do you have any motivating secrets for success?

I would say my secret is to be creative with your food.  Just because it's healthy, doesn't mean it
has to be boring. Research healthy meals.

6 – What is your current workout schedule?

My current schedule is personal training 4 times a week with the fabulous Remi!

7 - What encouraging words would you say to someone who doubts the
value of having a trainer?

I would tell anyone who's thinking about getting a trainer is to give it a try.  It's the best thing I have
ever done.  Your trainer is there to keep you motivated. All the trainers at The Inner Athlete support
all the clients of the gym!

8 - What are your favorite workout moves?

I have to admit I think jump squats and hanging abs!

9 - What is your next fitness goal?  By what date have you set this goal?

I would like to lose another 18lbs and I'm looking forward to competing in my first bikini contest in
May!

10 - Who do you look up to for fitness inspiration?

My fitness inspiration is my trainer Remi! She is a young working mother who understands getting
the midsection right! And she pushes me harder every session.
