| 1 - What was your fitness goal when joining The Inner Athlete? What brought you to The Inner Athlete? My main primary goals when joining the Inner Athlete were to lose the weight I gained during my second pregnancy and increase my energy levels. 2 – What made you to decide to make fitness a priority? I knew that making fitness a priority would positively effect all areas of my life. As a single, working mother of two, I need all the energy I can get. 3 – How are you able to maintain your fit lifestyle? What have you learned from your trainers/classes? I attend the 5:30AM classes so there is never a scheduling conflict. From my training I have learned that being out of breath is OK, I can still keep going! 5 - Do you have any motivating secrets for success? I have two small children and it is important to me that I set a good example for them on living an active lifestyle. 6 – What is your current workout schedule? I attend boot camp 3 to 5 times a week. Recently I have also added a weekly yoga class and a daily 30 min walk at lunchtime. 7 - What encouraging words would you say to someone who doubts the value of having a trainer? I think a trainer is invaluable to help you push yourself beyond what your mind thinks you can do. A trainer makes sure that you are always pushing your limits and yourself to be better, faster and stronger. Another great thing about working out with The Inner Athlete trainers is that every workout session is unique, planned, effective and intense. You never have to wander around the gym thinking "what am I going to do today?" And you never get bored! 8 - What are your favorite workout moves? I like the moves where you work your whole body without knowing it, like working with the kettlebells. 9 - What is your next fitness goal? My next fitness goal is to run a 5k (without stopping), to continue losing weight and progress to working consistently with 20 pound dumbbells. 10 - Who do you look up to for fitness inspiration? I look up to my fellow boot campers Carol and Virgina. They are both in incredible shape, they live healthy, active lifestyles and they are grandmothers! I don't have many people in my personal life to look-up to for fitness inspiration, so I really appreciated my fellow boot campers! |
